چکیده
Abstract The horizontal stress profile plays an important role, extending from wellbore stability analysis to well completion optimization of tight gas reservoirs. When considering exploration fields with planned wells being drilled 5500-m TVD, it is imperative quantify tectonic effects at the location. In addition, accurately predicting and fracture initiation values in vertical required identify sweet zones barriers. This paper presents details a pre-fracture geomechanical model using breakouts advanced acoustic data for post-fracture analysis. contains history match pressure, which consider filter cake around permeable sand, variation tensile strength, quantification contrast different fields. Overall, three reservoirs have been analyzed, each containing more than eight operations history. Core tests were used calibrate dynamic-to-static rock elastic mechanical properties, both reduced uncertainty model. poroelastic strain method was build continuous profile. Typically, fabric found cores, images, anisotropy various dynamic-to static conversions. Aeolian deposits-based reservoir has wide stress, height typically governed by stiffness layers. lower permeability relatively higher compared leading values. ratio maximum stress-to-minimum varies between 1.20 1.28 based on analysis, correlates regional tectonics structural data. Depending lithological structure changes, component layer level within tectonics. Inversion fracturing helped constrain variations field.

About the Cover: Black carbon (BC) containing particles have an important role to play in climate change; directly heating through absorption of radiation, and/or indirectly cooling through the seeding of clouds. New research in this issue, using a mobile laboratory indicates that gasoline powered cars may produce more BC than previously considered. Transmission electron microscopy background i...
متن کاملOn Tight Components and Anti-Tight Components
A graph G = (V, E) is called factor-critical if G = ∅ and G − v has a perfect matching for every vertex v ∈ V (G). A factor-critical graph G is tight (anti-tight, respectively) if for any v ∈ V (G), any perfect matching M in G − v, and any e ∈ M , |N (v) ∩ V (e)| = 1 (|N (v) ∩ V (e)| = 2, respectively), where N (v) denotes the neighborhood of v and V (e) denotes the set of vertices incident wit...
متن کاملThe Effect of a Tectonic Stress Field on Coal and Gas Outbursts
Coal and gas outbursts have always been a serious threat to the safe and efficient mining of coal resources. Ground stress (especially the tectonic stress) has a notable effect on the occurrence and distribution of outbursts in the field practice. A numerical model considering the effect of coal gas was established to analyze the outburst danger from the perspective of stress conditions. To eva...
متن کاملToward a Thorough Approach to Predicting Klinkenberg Permeability in a Tight Gas Reservoir: A Comparative Study
Klinkenberg permeability is an important parameter in tight gas reservoirs. There are conventional methods for determining it, but these methods depend on core permeability. Cores are few in number, but well logs are usually accessible for all wells and provide continuous information. In this regard, regression methods have been used to achieve reliable relations between log readings and Klinke...
